This policy describes Mississippi River Marketing LLC’s website and its handling of service inquiries, audit requests and information provided for client work. A client’s own website, account or customer privacy notice is separate. Our public contact details are 573-621-4337 and mississippirivermarketing@gmail.com.
Information you choose to provide.
When you contact us by email, phone or a lead form, we receive the information you provide. This may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, website, services of interest and the details of your request. We use this information to respond, discuss a service or audit, and carry out work you request. Please do not include passwords, payment card details or sensitive personal records in an initial inquiry.

Website visits and your motion preference.
Our website is hosted by Bluehost. Like other web hosts, its systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and request times to deliver and protect the website. The site remembers your reduced-motion choice in temporary browser session storage. That preference stays in your browser and is not sent to MRM as a marketing profile. This version of the website does not include Google Analytics, AdSense, advertising pixels or a newsletter signup.
How information is shared.
We do not sell personal information or share it with unrelated companies for their own marketing. When a client hires us to edit or manage a presence on Facebook, Google, Yelp, BBB, Apple Business Connect or another authorized platform, we provide the information needed for that work. Those platforms handle information under their own terms and privacy notices. We also use hosting, email and, where applicable, lead-form providers to operate our website and receive or respond to inquiries; these services necessarily process the information used to deliver those functions. Information may also need to be disclosed when required by law.
Lead forms and outside websites.
A lead form hosted on another platform may collect information before it reaches MRM. Review the notice shown with that form and the platform’s privacy information. Links from this site to Google Business Profile, learning resources or other websites take you to services with their own data practices. A link does not give those services access to your MRM inquiry. If you choose to use an outside service, its notice applies to that interaction.
Keeping information and handling requests.
Inquiry and client records may remain in our communication tools and business records while a request or related work is being handled and for applicable recordkeeping needs. Hosting logs and provider backups may follow separate schedules. You can ask what contact information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop contacting you about services. We may need to verify that a request relates to you, and some records may need to be retained for an existing engagement or legal obligation. Contact us to discuss your particular request.
